Inspired by awesome action movies such as Mad Max & Redline, Road warrios started out as one of those simple gamedev prototype brainfarts. I'm sure every game developer can relate to the warm fuzzy feeling of creating a 2d physics car for the first time.

A prototype evolved into an early access game that failed to make any sales. Later reborn again as an iOS and Android game. This was the first commercial game I worked on that was also my own project.

A chicken in a car! Of course it had to be a chicken, duh!

Cluck, a chicken from a poor family always dreamt of becoming the Intergalactic Grand Prix champion. The grand prix itself spans across multiple galaxies and a wide variety of planets. Ranging from scorching desert worlds to eternally frozen ice planets.

I made this mockup after watching the movie Redline. From this point onward, things began to escalate 😅

Original Prototype

I made the original prototype in Construct using wheel physics. A mouse-aim gun was added to mess around with while driving.
